The new Jeonju station is more than a new and expanded contemporary train station.
It is a new cultural and tourist destination for
the city of Jeonju. Steeply rooted in a deep cultural heritage,
the new station becomes the focal point as a new civic garden square.
Its renewal and expansion creates a new TOD(transit-oriented development) for the city.
A single integrated urban development bringing people, activities, buildings, and public
space together with easy walking and cycling connection between
them and near-excellent transit service to the rest of the city.
